CALORIC’ S corporate responsibility (CSR)

For Caloric, sustainability has been an embedded part of the company for six decades. Long time before terms such as “corporate social responsibility” became more prominent, we were already taking responsibility for the environment, society and our employees.

What has changed in the recent past are the expectations from the market regarding the visibility and documented traceability of this commitment. Caloric has therefore decided to have its sustainable actions officially evaluated.

The assessment by EcoVadis® enables Caloric not only to show where it stands today, but also to receive an independent third-party validation of the company philosophy that it has always practiced. Within this assessment, our measures in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable sourcing were particularly evaluated.

The result of this assessment at the first attempt: Caloric was awarded a bronze medal.

This award is a visible sign that Caloric has been on the right course with its approach and measures for 60 years. For us, it is not a new commitment, but an external confirmation of what we have always implemented and an incentive to continue to follow this path consistently.
