Waste Incineration Plants and Production technologies

Waste incineration plants are key factors in developing a sustainable waste and recycling economy. Known as well as Thermal Oxidizers, Waste Incineration Plants are designed to dispose complex liquid and gaseous waste streams, mainly provided by chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Generally, Waste Incineration Plants consist of one or more combustion chambers, a heat recovery system, a flue gas treatment and a stack. CALORIC can derive advantage from German engineering experience out of 100 plants already designed and built in the last 40 years. Thus, the destruction efficiency of CALORIC waste incinerators meets the stringent emission regulations of the European legislation for incineration of hazardous wastes.

Key applications with focus on investment and maximum efficiency

Liquid and gaseous waste incineration plants are important factors in many European, American and Asian countries, also in economic terms. Depending on the waste properties, process requirements and legal requirements, the configuration of the CALORIC waste incineration systems will be selected case by case using the appropriate technology in each of the process steps. While incinerators in the past have been built mainly to dispose wastes, nowadays the recovery of valuable products like HCl is coming more and more in focus. The thermal capacity of CALORIC incinerator units ranges from 0,5 MW to 23 MW. Learn more about the CALORIC incineration processes on the following pages.
